Feeling lucky? Think you can make a fortune mining for gold? Well, let's try your skills.
Visit the "Strike It Rich" site and find out how you would do if you were a 49er!
Once you get to the site, click on "Strike it Rich" . Make sure you read the instructions and make your choice for which prospector you will like to be.
When you are finished with the activity, you may try it again as another prospector. you must leave me a comment on this blog telling me how you did as a 49er! What did you think of the overall activity?

really dont like this game it is hard not to die!!!!!! i finally got rich but that was only at school!!!! i was the old guy with the big fluffy beard =) but it was fun =) i died in a fire,the flue, was bit by the dog and i think thats it =)
I never got rich or got to open any buissness :( i never won. and i died from a bad cough and did not have enough money to go to the hospital. but the game is fun :)
finally i struck it rich after getting bit by stray dog a thousandownd times and my house burntdown
hi mrs. j.,i liked the game we played today it was very fun.when i started the game i was the chilean guy. first i decide to buy supplies to go on the journey to find gold.the first time i looked i found nothing.the second time i went i got two pieces of gold and a knife. i was the only one who did not die the longest.but at the end of the class i died of a flu see you tommorrow zach
